Rio Capital's founder and CEO, Eduardo Camargo, has more than 25 years of experience in financial markets, both on investment banking and on corporate sides.

Camargo worked with the most prestigious Brazilian Investment Banks, gathering experience in diverse markets and building a strong network of financial markets professionals, analysts, influencers and top executives from different industry and economy sectors.

After working for Embraer - Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica S.A. as Director of Capital Markets and Investor Relations, Camargo expanded his experience and contacts in a Global scale, leading the company to its first approach to international credit markets, as well as expanding its shareholders base around the world.

Rio Capital’s co-founder and CIO, Rafael Trapé holds a bachelor degree from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV-SP) and a Masters in Finance degree with concentration in Investment Management from London Business School. He is also a CFA charterholder.

​​Prior to Rio Capital, Rafael has worked several years in Estater Gestao e Financas, a leading investment firm in Brazil. As an investment analyst and portfolio manager, he performed a significant role in the investment decision making process of both the company’s proprietary hedge fund and its private equity business.
